Account and Data Deletion

Night Reef products that support account creation should provide a way to request account deletion. Chamelingo, our first app, supports deletion from inside the app.

How to request deletion

For Chamelingo, open the app or web app, go to Settings, choose Delete Account, and confirm deletion through the verification email sent to your registered email address. For any Night Reef product, you can also email hello@nightreef.com with the subject line 'Account deletion request' and include the product name plus the email address or account identifier associated with the account. For Chamelingo-specific requests, support@chamelingo.com is also available. We may ask for verification before deleting data.

What gets deleted

Deletion removes or de-identifies personal data associated with the product account unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, completed transaction records, or normal backup expiration. For Chamelingo, this includes profile information, learning progress, vocabulary statistics, streak history, custom decks, friend connections, arena match history, and similar account data.

Timing

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Some backups, security logs, and legally required records may take longer to expire according to normal retention schedules.
